Pandemonia, too, has its own calendar, but it does not make much sense.
The pandoran calendar has 256 days and 4 month per year, with 64 days a month. The months are known as Rebuary, Pyrjul, Ostober and Crystember. On the 32nd day of each month, coinciding with the equinoxes and solstices, there are festivals throughout Kartonas.
Each month is associated with a season, and each season is associated with a Major God, who is worshipped specially during its time. Each year ends on the 32nd of Crystember and begins on the 33rd of Crystember.
Each pandoran day lasts 16 hours, each pandoran hour lasts 64 minutes, and each pandoran minute lasts 64 pandoran seconds. This may appear confusing, but Pandorans typically count in 8s instead of 10s, so the numbers they use are round.
The First Equinox is celebrated on the 32nd of Rebuary, in the middle of spring, and is associated with Denn. People around the continent pray to the god for good crops, love and offspring.
The First Solstice is celebrated on the 32nd of Pyrjul, in the middle of summer, and is associated with Pyria. People around the continent pray to the goddess for clear skies and creative inspiration.
The Last Equinox is celebrated on the 32nd of Ostober, in the middle of autumn, and is associated with Ruma. People around the continent pray to the god for bountiful harvests, great feasts and protection from spirits.
The Last Solstice is celebrated on the 32nd of Crystember, in the middle of winter, and is associated with Aquiz. It is also the last day of the year. People around the continent pray to the goddess for warmth, family and luck in the new year.
The pandemonian calendar is a lot less strict because pandemonians are bad at following rules. The year has 307.66 days and 4 months, with 77 days a month. The months are unnamed, and are referred to by their number - for example 'the first month'. Every third year is a leap year, where the last day of the year is skipped.
The chaotic energy in Pandemonia causes the seasons to change length every year. The equinoxes and solstices are hard to measure, so most pandemonians do not bother to. Individual communities will hold their own festivals when they feel it is the middle of a season.
Pandemonian days last between 20-22 pandoran hours. It varies because each island orbits at a slightly different speed.
